You guys spoke of drama, not me. I just meant "fresh meat", lol. No I don't know you, but I'm hoping you'll post about your sitch so I will. Always like to meat, I mean meet new people, and it's refreshing to see both halves of the couple. Pull up a chair, and tell us about yourselves...

Let's see... we both wandered off of MAAN in late 2009 or early 2010. I started seriously suspecting I was aspie, and started reading everything I could get my hands on about it and visiting forums where people had it or knew about it or tried to have relationships with people who have it (one thing I found is that relationships where only one person has it tend not to go well...)
I spent a good while not talking much about it to anyone except those who were seriously interested in the subject... didn't want to try to convince anyone of anything one way or the other until I was sure beyond a reasonable doubt myself. I'd say I passed that point in March of 2011.
Also, I bumped up my "executive function" some by getting a sleep study and a CPAP machine that lets me sleep properly. I've started up exercise routines again and again, had my meds switch around, taken up knitting, gotten a balance board... trying lots of things to boost my energy levels and the amount of time per day that I can really think straight. Still not where I want to be 100% of the time, but better.
One of the people I met online started IMing me every so often this past summer. Eventually we were IMing back and forth several times a day. This continued until pumpkincat... um, suggested that I stop. At which point the other person started posting where I could see it that her "good friend" had pulled the rug out from under her and devastated her and she'd never been that low in her life and wasn't going to kill herself but kinda felt like doing it even though she knew better. And she sent me private messages saying pretty much the same thing, trying to guilt me into talking to her again. No, I never even hinted that we might possibly go "there" (and pumpkincat read all the IMs afterwards and will confirm that I stayed well within bounds except letting the frequency get too high)... and here she was acting like I'd broken up with her. Oh yeah, she's married too.
pumpkincat was seriously withdrawn and low on energy for several months (including the whole time this IMing was going on). Her doctor found an infection that had likely been there the whole time and prescribed antibiotics... she's better now.

As for pumpkincat's ex, she didn't talk much to him for the past year or two. Not long ago, he broke two months of silence with the ever-so-romantic greeting "I'm horny" on IM. She rolled her eyes, replied back that he might have better luck with his hand, and deleted him from her contacts list.
