Hello there  Just a quick intro. I got here by following Mr. SillyBear's link on Divorce Busting page. Thought I would try here because a more general support group that shared at least some of the age old ideas that are espoused on that site would be a better fit for me now. The folks on that site 12 years ago helped me more than I could ever express. I wrote mostly as alottolearn and then as things got better in my marriage I promoted myself to 2Learn. I think I remember you, Bagheera, but I don't know if it was from long ago or on a more recent return to that site. I have turned so many corners in my life that I am a rather complex geometric object My plan is to keep turning away. Perhaps you all can help me with that and I can help you too. |

Bear! So glad to see you here. With you and Young here this really could be fun and growth producing! While MWD's books have been helpful to me, communicating with thoughtful, incredibly kind and empathic folks that I met on that site was life altering. I'd love to have a broader conversation using the ageless principles that have worked since time began and no one can claim as their own. I feel grateful to MWD for providing a gathering place but I didn't like the fine print in the user agreement that whatever was written there was her property. I don't mind that she makes big bucks with her books and I haven't seen abuses of the site content in any of her books but I still thought that was going to far. Tonight I am feeling very grateful. If you stick around a bit and keep posting, the moderators will make you a full member and there are literally 100's of posts you will then see when you log in that you don't see now. When you become a full member, there is a "private" section, so we can really let our stuff hang out without it being accessible to the general public. A lot of us have issues we want to discuss without someone we know possibly finding our posts and knowing all our dirt....it is very helpful. Anyway, you have to keep posting a bit and let the members get to know you so....please, post away!!
