Nope. Just a generic box with the word avatar in it. Seriously... try photobucket.

Nope. Just a generic box with the word avatar in it. Seriously... try photobucket. Same here. * Both ImageShack and PhotoBucket images should work. * Be sure that the image is no larger than 100 by 100 pixels in size, and then specify how big the avatar is in your Profile settings (otherwise, it will automatically make it 65 by 65 pixels). * Also, I'm not sure how well animated gifs will work, but you can experiment with them to see. -- Bagheera

Hey, mrscac! There's a bit of an echo in here at the moment... but it should improve.

Like the Van Gogh painting, too. I was aiming for double/triple meanings with the forum name and the Van Gogh. With regard to the name, "Sharing Life's Journey" refers primarily to the relationship orientation of our group, but also to the fact that we're sharing (at least bits and aspects) of our individual journeys with the group here too. With regard to the Van Gogh, the couple could either be (a) enjoying a walk in the forest along a well marked path that the viewer can't see through the underbrush, or (b) lost and wandering about without direction in the woods, or (c) standing still and focusing so much on the immediate 'trees' around them that they're missing the forest entirely. All three work, and all three are applicable to various relationship situations. -- Bagheera

Is there a way to jump to the "first unread" post in a thread?

And I have to say the strikethrough feature is almost worth the trouble of the move.
I feel like a new colour has been added to my quiver palette. ;D

Is there a way to jump to the "first unread" post in a thread? Yeah, I think if you click on that little thing that says "new" to the upper left of the thread title, it'll take you to the newest post. -IC

I have a US keyboard on my laptop and somehow my brain makes the transition. And YouTube Links. We need bizarre YouTube videos. THAT'd attract traffic. ;D

New in the upper left? I don't see "new" on my screen. In the outermost, Category view, there are little folder icons (on the left) that will tell you when you have unread posts in one of the listed Boards, by showing a piece of paper labeled "NEW" inside the folder icon for that Board. You can't click on that folder icon -- it's just a notifier. However, if you open up the Board in question, each Thread in that Board which contains unread posts will have a "NEW" button to the left of the thread title. Click on *that button*, and you will taken to the first unread post in the thread. -- Bagheera

And I have to say the strikethrough feature is almost worth the trouble of the move. Unfortunately, the smiley selection is rather plain...with no dancing bananas, either. For everything, there is a price. -- Bagheera
